Join the TKPK5K at Mark's Kitchen at 7006 Carroll Avenue, Takoma Park, on Tuesday, March 21 and help raise money for the five local schools that the race supports! All day long Mark's will donate 15% of sales to the TKPK5K. There's no need to say anything, it will happen automaticaly when you pay your bill. Please spread the word!!
Here are the 5K chip-timed results as well as the 1 Mile chip-timed results (for those 14 and younger). Congrats to all and thank you for braving the elements and coming out to support the TKPK5K!
If you would still like to register, you must do so in person at race packet pick-up.
Race packet pick-up will be held the day before the race, this Saturday, April 30 from 2-6pm in the lobby of the police department at the Takoma Park Community Center (7500 Maple Avenue, Takoma Park -- also the location of the race). NOTE that the Montgomery County Greenfest will also be held at the Community Center, running from 11am-4pm. This will be a great event for the whole family so consider coming out and doing both! That said, parking will be at a premium (check out the notice Takoma Park posted for more information). Walking is advised. If you only wish to pick up your packet, there will be five (5) TKPK5K packet pick-up parking spots just up the hill at Takoma Park Elementary School. Those spots will be good for fifteen minutes, easily enough time for you to grab your packet or register for the race. Alternatively, race packet pick-up will run until 6pm, two hours after Greenfest ends, opening up close-by parking.
Packets may also be picked up the morning of the race starting at 7am.
