Pete's New Haven Style Apizza in downtown Silver Spring is hosting a fundraiser for the TKPK5K on Monday, April 25. Just eat at Pete's, tell them you are there for TKPK5K and they will donate 25% of your bill to the TKPK5K.  It's that easy!  Eat pizza, mention TKPK5K and money goes to our five benefitting schools!  Please spread the word!!!

Planning Underway for 2016 TKPK5K

We are just five months away from the 8th annual Takoma Park Safe Routes to School 5K Challenge.  The TKPK5K Committee, led by Lucy Neher with representatives from our five TKPK5K schools has begun race preparations and is beginning to secure sponsorships from local businesses.  Last year's race -- through a combination of sponsorships and registration fees -- raised $5,000 for each of our participating schools!  These funds will support health, fitness and pedestrian safety activities planned by each school's PTA. If you know of businesses that would like to support this wonderful community event, please share the following sponsorship information with them.  Thanks in advance for your assistance!
